Revelation contains 4 great visions, each of which you’ll know as they all begin with “in the Spirit.”
- Revelation 1:9-3:22: Christ is seen as evaluating the 7 churches, commending their virtues and commending their vices
- Revelation 4:1-16:21: God will judge the world, and we’ll see seals, trumpets, bowls, and other symbols in this section
- Revelation 17:21-21:8: Evil, Babylon, and the beast will be defeated by Christ
- Revelation 21:9-22:5: The establishment of Christ’s reign here on earth
The outline of Revelation is as follows:
- Introduction where Christ returns (Revelation 1:1-8)

- Christ controls destiny (Revelation 4:1-16:21)
- Christ conquers evil (Revelation 17:1-21:8)
